In high school, when we found out that our birthdays were so close together, I went home and looked at the birth announcement from the newspaper that my mom had saved. Josh’s birth announcement was right above my own.
We started dating June 6th, 1998. We had just turned 16 and we’ve been together ever since.
We got married after college on September 10th, 2005. We chose September because we thought it would be a little cooler, but there was a heat wave that day and it was in the 90’s! Luckily there was a little breeze. Other than the heat, our wedding was perfect and was exactly what we wanted. We got married at Spring Prairie Lutheran Church in Keyeser, Wisconsin. Our reception was held at Lake Windsor Country Club.
For our Anniversary this year I gave Josh an Aaron Kampman Packer Jersey. Aaron Kampman is his favorite Packer and he’s been wanting his jersey since last year. I was gonna wait until today to give it to him, but since the Packer’s season opener against the Vikings was Monday, I gave it to him then.
Since Josh has Flag Football tonight we ate out at the Capri last night for dinner. As always, it was delicious. I had a ½ rack of ribs and Josh had a steak with breaded mushrooms. Our dinners came with a relish tray, side salad, cup of soup, dinner rolls, and choice of potato. By the time I got to my ribs, I so was full, I ended up taking most of my ribs home.
For my present Josh gave me Hoops & Yoyo bobbleheads, a talking Hoops & Yoyo card and surprised me by sending me flowers at work!

Congrats! I hope I look half as beautiful as you did Jenny. (only 7 more days) I am so happy I got to spend more time with Josh. Now I know my friend couldn't be with anyone better. :)
