Here are 20 facts about me that you may or may not already know....
1.) People tell me I am a very good singer. My speaking voice and singing voice are totally different. It's weird. I sang a lot of solos in high school and was in the musical "Good News" in college.
2.) Since I was about 13, my idol has been Shirley Manson (The lead singer of Garbage).
3.) My favorite holiday is Christmas and two of my favorite movies ever are "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation" and "A Christmas Story".
4.) I love Snoopy and the comic strip "Peanuts".
5.) My favorite places to eat are: Taco Bell, Buffalo Wild Wings, Ella's Deli and Pedros.
6.) I love the Broadway Musicals "Phantom of the Opera", "Les Miserables", and "Sweeney Todd".
7.) My middle name is Leigh, pronounced "Lee".
8.) I like a very wide variety of music including classical, country, rap, pop, celtic, rock, R&B, and oldies.
9.) When I was little I played Softball for three summers, took three years of ballet lessons, and one year of tap dancing lessons.
10.) I am married to my High School Sweetheart. We started dating June 6th, 1998, after our 16th birthday's.
11.) Besides addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, I have always been really bad at math; fractions, percentages, geometry, and algebra make my head spin. I remember crying over my math book at the dining room table in third grade. Needless to say I never made it to Calculus.
12.) My last name reminds me of Octopus.
13.) As a child I was very shy, but when comfortable I was super hyper and a total goof-ball. I am sort of still like that, but I have calmed down ALOT! I feel I have gotten boring
14.) My favorite TV Shows are Little House on the Prairie, Roseanne, Desperate Housewives, Amazing Race, Lost, Ghost Hunters, Survivor, and All My Children
15.) I have been dying my hair since I was 13. My original color is very dark brown. I prefer light brown or shades of red.
16.) When my Mom got together with my Step-Dad when I was 13, I hated him! He drove me crazy and they almost didn't get married because I was such a pain. I admit I was evil, but hey, I was a teenager, what can you expect? We get along fine now. :)
17.) I love 80's movies, especially those with Steve Martin, Bill Murray, John Candy, Dan Aykroyd, and Chevy Chase!
18.) When I was five, my dream was to work at a bakery and make donuts all day when I grew up.
19.) When I was little I left my blankie on the school bus and thought my world was over. My mom even called the bus company, but I never got it back :(
20.) I once threw up on a chiropractor's assistant on his first day.

I also suck at math so I feel your pain. My Mom would spend hours with me going through those blasted cards and trying to get me to memorize things. Ugh! My calculator is my best friend :)

I always thought life should be like the Ingall's family at night:
sit around the fire, knitting, talking, singing, hanging out. I hate going out at night and I blame it all on Laura Ingalls.
Yeah! I knew a lot of them. At least I think I did pretty well. I did not know about the blankie, making donuts, that you took ballet, and what your favorite x-mas movies are. I love the x-mas movie Elf. When I was little I wanted to be a vet. That went out the window because I can't look at needles or blood.
