Facebook Rocks

I just joined facebook.com about a week ago. For those of you who are not familiar with it, here is a description from wikipedia, since I am horrible at explaining things to people…

"Facebook is a social networking website. It was originally developed for college and university students but has since been made available to anyone with an email address. People can select to join one or more participating networks, such as a high school, place of employment, or geographic region.

I found my friend Becky who I had been friends with since Pre-school. We had lost touch somewhere around 1995. She currently lives in Texas , but is coming for a visit next week. So we are going to have lunch.

I also found my friend Dan who went to my high school freshman year, but then moved away. Turns out, he has lived in Japan since 2004 and works as a high school English teacher. In addition, I have found many other old friends and acquaintances from high school and college. It’s really fun to see where people are now and what they’ve been up to.
