Blah Blah Blah

I was going through the pictures on my laptop and I found this picture of Sadie when she was a baby so I thought I would put it on here so you could see.

I don't have much new, so I'll just talk about my weekend... Friday night we went to the Capri for dinner. Since I was sick on our anniversary, we waited until I felt better to go. It was really good. First we got a little relish tray which had carrots, olives, celery, cheese dip, coleslaw, and pickles. With it we got a little basket of Ritz crackers. Then we each had a Diet Pepsi. Josh ordered the Sirloin Steak with breaded mushrooms and I ordered Ribs of course. Our meals each came with bread and butter, soup (we both got Chicken Dumpling), a side salad, and Potato (I got twice baked mashed potatoes which were AMAZING, and Josh got seasoned potato wedges which were also very good.) My ribs were really good, I ate them all and they weren’t as fatty as Apple Tree. Then for desert Josh got some peanut butter chocolate cake thing and I got cherry cheesecake (to go) because I was super full!!!! YUMMY! Lots of older people eat there and everyone knows each other. People would come in to have dinner and be waving across the room at people they knew. I would highly recommend it to anyone passing through Columbus.

On Saturday we took Tator to training and she did really good again. In the afternoon we went and saw the Black Dahlia movie and we both thought it was stupid. Then we went to my mom’s and dug in her basement, because we still got a lot of stuff there. Josh brought up a bunch of boxes and I found a bunch of miscellaneous stuff I thought I lost - CDs, books, photo albums etc.

Yesterday we went to church and Josh and I were ushers so we had to give everyone the program as they came in and bring around the donation baskets and then release everyone for communion. Ya know how our Pastor is really new? Well Josh and I went up to get the donation baskets from him and he didn’t think it was time yet and wanted to know what we were doing up there. He was confused he didn’t think we had sung the hymn even though we had just sung it. So we got him straightened out. I have noticed that sometimes he accidentally skips part of the service. Oh well. I'm sure he'll get better with time. Church choir will be starting wednesday nights again which will be fun, we will be looking at Christmas music soon. I love Christmas. It is my favorite time of year, even though it is cold, I love buying presents for everyone and I love the smell of christmas trees etc.

After church we came home and ate at the bar next to our house (JodeeO's) . We had never been there before. We each had a cheeseburger. It was okay, but I like the bar down the street (Hard Heads), they have a lot better food. Then we came home and I did three loads of laundry and we watched the Packer game. It was a lot better than last weeks and it was really close in the end too. It sucks that we lost. But I will still love the Packers even if they lose every single game. Josh's brother Brent came over and watched part of the Packer game with us and we ordered pizza. Brent has kidney stones. His doctor thinks they might be too big to pass, so they might have to do surgery. He is going to the doctor today for a scan so they can see how big it is and where it is located.

I am currently working on a logo for Josh's lawn care company Green Grass & More. I'll show you the finished product when I'm all done.

Motorola Pink RAZR!!!

This Sunday September 10th is our first wedding anniversary. A long time ago I made Josh promise we could go to the Capri for dinner. It's a steakhouse in Columbus a block from our house. They have good ribs and appetizers, but since it is a little expensive we save it for special occasions.

Earlier this week I was asking Josh if we were going to buy eachother presents or just go out to dinner. Josh said we should exchange presents, but he couldn't think of anything he wanted. He already had a list of things I wanted which included a pink razr phone, pink IPod, or a shopping spree for shoes and work clothes. Then today after work he picked me up and I told him we couldn't exchange presents unless he could think of something he wanted. So all of a sudden we were driving and he pulled into Cingular and he said we could both get Razr phones cuz he wanted one too. Happy Anniversary to me!

So I got a pink one and Josh got a black one cuz they were out of silver. But now Josh might just get a new silver skin for it. Anyways, its real cool and I took a picture of Sadie for my wallpaper. You can have each person in your phone book be a different ring tone and you can also attach a picture for each person also. And it has speaker phone and voice recognition. So if I wanna call Josh I just press a button and say "Josh" and it calls him. It has a billion other features but I've only had it now for a couple hours so I still gotta learn them all.

My phone number is still the same if your wondering so ya don't have to worry. There are seriously thousands of rings tones. Everything under the sun, so Josh has been going through them online ever since we got home! Everyone should get a RAZR!

Best and Worst Dressed of the VMAs

Nothing much new in my world. I usually don't watch award shows but I am always interested in what everyone wore. This morning I looked through the plethora of celebrity photos from MTV's Video Music Awards and was so disgusted by the lack of fashion that I decided I would post a best and worst dressed blog.

I am not saying that I have any style sense what so ever, but these are celebrities, they have fashion consultants and people who can "dress them." Plus most of them have lots of money and can buy awesome clothes that look good on them.

First we'll start with the best dressed celebs...

Christina Aguilera - Looking like a modern Marilyn Monroe as she poses on the red carpet.

Beyonce Knowles - Sleek, Sexy, Fascinating

Shakira - Showing off her natural beauty without gobs of makeup and her hair is GORGEOUS!!!

Okay, now for the Worst Dressed... Fasten your seatbelts, it won't be pretty!

Paris Hilton - Hello??? You look like crap! Did you buy that dress at Goodwill? Cuz it's just not working! Every time I look at this picture I think of the Time Warp on Rocky Horror Picture Show...Let's do the time warp again - It's just a jump to the left - And then a step to the right - With your hands on your hips - You bring your knees in tight - But it's the pelvic thrust - That really drives you insane - Let's do the time warp again!!!!!

J-Lo - Someone forgot to tell her that it's the 21st century. She looks like a long lost member of Charlie's Angels on her way to the disco. I know she can do way better!

Jessica Simpson - This is my biggest disappointment. She looks like she's getting ready for a workout session with her personal trainer at the gym. Jessica what happened???
